Organizing Committees
The organizing committee (“OC”) is a group of co-workers leading a workplace campaign. The most effective OCs include workers who are real leaders from all parts of the workforce and have the trust of their co-workers.

Organizing Conversations
The organizing conversation is the basic building block of organizing. Getting to know your co-workers is critical to any organizing effort. In-person and one-on-one conversations strengthen relationships and foster trust.

Campaigns and Collective Action
Your campaign should be based on the issues, target decision-makers, and consist of a series of escalating actions, each of which, after completing, you should assess and build upon.

Inoculation and the Boss Campaign
Once you’ve decided you’re ready to go public, it’s very likely that your boss will push back. To win, you need to be prepared.
